Music and Cross Aesthetics

As a soloist and composer for nearly 30 years, musician and composer Tao Højgaard (aka Mute State) recognizes that the mood-setting qualities of sound and music can easily stand on their own. That is precisely why it is interesting to allow music to interact with other art forms. The interplay between art forms should be seen as charismatic conversation partners who, with courtesy and presence, co-reflect on a given subject, creating a new whole in the process. A whole that explores aspects on multiple levels simultaneously and, in the process, opens doors for each other, inspires one another, and in unity manages to convey complex existential questions and possible answers.
